Born in Andalusia, Alabama, Ron Kervin served a tour of duty in Southeast Asia (U.S. Army) during the Vietnam conflict as a nineteen year old soldier.  After completing college at Auburn University at Montgomery, Ron entered in the construction industry where he has invested over 30 years of his life managing and consulting on large developments. 

The proud father of three and grandfather of two, Ron has discovered and developed a passion for writing and motivational speaking in his life.

Writing was born from a need to put into words bitter events of a tragedy in my life that once committed to paper - compelled me to develop a story.  My first book "Down, Not Out" took over 2 years to complete.

Ron currently resides in beautiful Alexander City, Alabama.

My influences and inspirations must be attributed to the Bible, Louie L'amour, Tom Clancy, Zane Grey and Larry McMurty.
